Extreme stuttering is damaging my brother's performance in the game.
My family's system runs a Ryzen 3 3200G custom build. It originally came with overclocked CPU, 16GB DDR4 RAM at 3000Mhz, an ASUS Prime B450M-A case, and a 600W Aerocool power supply. The setup performed fine at first but later slowed down after installing an AMD Radeon driver. Now the machine lags, acting like a much older processor. Someone suggested using a DDU driver, which helped some games run better, but CS:GO still freezes heavily. My brother is upset because he can't play his favorite game smoothly. I need advice on fixing this issue.
Step 1 "Don't handle his equipment." Step 2 ... Step 3 Gain profit! Jokes aside. Did you restart DDU? Did you reinstall the driver? Did you attempt a different release (some releases are poor quality - you should try an older one, preferably)? Review Temps Check CPU and GPU usage We lack sufficient details to address this effectively right now. Currently, you're running the default driver Windows assigns for that GPU, which is likely outdated. Updating would be a sensible move at this point.
In the ASUS BIOS, D.O.C.P functions like XMP. I think that's it.
I would attempt once more:
1. Disable Windows automatic driver setup connected here – https://windowsloop.com/disable-automati...xt=Disable Automatic Driver Installation on Windows 10,Automatic Driver Installation via Registry Editor More
2. Execute DDU in safe mode.
3. Obtain the newest AMD graphics drivers for your 3200G.
4. Apply the most recent video drivers for your 3200G.
5. Transfer or set up the game on your SSD and explore the results.
