Your Rampage VI Extreme first-gen model no longer manages fan speed. After installing the Armory Crate, the AI Suite only handles BIOS updates. You need to manually adjust your fan curves and settings. ASUS, you really need to fix this!

Sure, you can access the BIOS settings to adjust the fan curves directly.

The $600 motherboard is expected to lack built-in live fan control. It won't be modified for BIOS settings.

You can view a screenshot of your Ai Suite. I haven’t seen the issue with your Asus board yet.

I don’t rely on any conflicting programs and adjust settings through BIOS. You won’t find me useful here.

built in = BIOS, what most people know. For me, it's better to stick with the BIOS for more control, keeping background software to a minimum. Worth a look.

You installed Armory Crate and AI Suite either from the disk or directly from Asus' website.

Sorry, the built-in feature doesn't just cover bios. This discussion isn't exactly what you're after. What I need is the control I had last month that I no longer have.

Check the site for Asus setup instructions. If needed, consider removing the amory crate and restarting.

You definitely can't manage the fans in ARMY CRATE. It seems you might have mixed things up—AI Suite is likely what you were thinking about instead. That’s probably why you’re confused. They left it on AI Suite to focus on that software’s goals, right? Just keeping it simple!
