Extre OS – a top choice for batch systems?
I noticed this might not fit the intended category. I'm not promoting anything. My idea was to develop an OS or at least a GUI using the scripting language "Batch". I wanted to share the project with you. It’s going to be advanced—hence the name Extre, which is just incomplete from Extreme Batch—and will include colors and possibly more features. For the installer, the graphics should start in a folder full of batch files. Then it calls one of them to gather variables. I combined some elements (as Jeb explained) and printed something like the attachment you mentioned. I also added parts that simplified the code and reduced length by creating variables for things like setting img1_01. This part uses black or bright yellow depending on the context. Anyone interested? Let me know!
Currently, many people continue this activity despite most being quite passive and limited by their environment—something common in my country as well, where humidity can fluctuate significantly. It started around 2000-2001 when the internet became available.
