Linux in a free operating system is why we need these extra devices. "Xtra-PC: Giving new life to old or broken computers." It’s about turning outdated machines into fresh ones for less than $35. I’m still not sure how it works or why it helps revive old PCs quickly. I’d like a review on whether this drive is worth buying or making yourself. Some people might find it confusing, but it seems like a fast solution until you upgrade to a new laptop.

It seems like a business trying to profit from something nearly free. The USB drive in question runs Linux, and you can find it at a low price—around ten dollars—so you could install a Linux distribution on it. It’s a simple way to earn a quick profit.

It might be because you're having trouble running Windows correctly. Or maybe you prefer not to spend money on Windows. Or there could be other reasons, of course. Personally, I have this exact Sandisk USB with Mint installed, but the installation process is taking a very long time.
