Hello, for your Corsair Virtuoso XT, the dongle range is quite close, so it should work well if you move around. If you're considering Bluetooth, it offers a longer range and avoids those connection issues you mentioned.

You could simply use the device, which would enhance the signal range beyond the limitations of the dongle or Bluetooth adapter connected to the motherboard.

Are you using the dongle that it came with? Because it's possible that even with a solid antenna (UglyNoob's link seems fine) you may just have thick walls or there could be a lot of ductwork/waterpipes/wiring between your tower and your livingroom. I have an issue where there is a specific chunk of my house that, if I walk into it, I lose BT connection. This is because of some shelving and the main vent chase in the way. You might be able to get better range with the included dongle and a long USB extension

They seem to suggest swapping the headphones from the stand to the adapter, since the ad says it offers great coverage. In reality, Bluetooth might introduce more delay, and the adapter could only boost range if it's low-cost and poorly designed.

It seems you may need to install additional drivers, though otherwise the device should extend its range. The product details mention a maximum of about 320 feet, which should be sufficient for your needs.

It worked with the included dongle. I’m wondering if the issue was just the walls, but Bluetooth seems farther for me. I’d like the dongle since it helps the software find the device.

I would attempt to use a USB extension cable.

Thanks! It seems my desk limits movement a lot, even though my computer is fast. I’ll consider using a USB adapter and raising it higher off the floor to avoid clutter. Appreciate the help!
