Extended Startup Duration (Minisforum TH50/i5-11320H/16GB DDR4 Memory)
I've noticed unusually slow startup times on my TH50 mini PC, taking around a minute to reach the BIOS screen. I've tried several fixes: changed the CMOS battery, cleared the CMOS, updated defaults, swapped in a new SSD, ran a memory test, removed and reinstalled the OS, and switched power adapters. Fast Boot is now active in BIOS. Support provided a BIOS file, but it appears to match my current version rather than an updated one. It's getting frustrating since I'm worried about damaging the system during such a short boot. Are there other adjustments I can make? Should I risk bricking the PC for the sake of speed? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Does it support multiple RAM modules? If yes, test with a single stick first to check for improvements.
Bios configured to default, recently updated, and no peripherals connected. It appears to freeze during network startup. Consider swapping the board and observe the outcome.
Are you referring to swapping a board, like a motherboard, or something else?
