Hello, your new computer has the newest specifications. You're experiencing a slow boot time when pressing the power button—sometimes it takes over two minutes to display the black screen before the Windows logo loads quickly. Could you share any advice or solutions that might help?

Consider exploring various options. Searching for tutorials on YouTube and Google can provide useful insights. While some methods may require patience, it’s not a major concern since I only power down my computer every few months. Make sure your BIOS is up to date if you haven’t already.

Your system needs to boot within about 12 seconds on AM5 platforms; Intel should finish in roughly 5 to 7 seconds. Keep in mind that GPU startup adds extra time—use your CPU’s integrated graphics for an accurate measurement. If the boot remains slow, check BIOS updates or compatibility problems. For ASUS boards, install the latest Beta version (1410) instead of the older non-Beta release (1222), which caused memory issues. After updating BIOS, reset all settings (Load Optimize Default) and restart before upgrading. Manually reconfigure if needed, avoiding saved profiles as they may contain new changes. Remember to enable Fast Boot, turn off CSM, and set Memory Profile to EXPO-II with Memory Context Restore active. Disable unused features like SATA controllers unless required. Set POST Delay to 0 seconds (ASUS enforces a minimum delay). Under Ai Tweaker, stop training in Cooler efficiency settings. Turn off Legacy USB Support. Ensure XHCI Hand-off is enabled for USB 3.x support. Primary Video Device should point to your GPU, not Auto. Enable Secure Boot and set the boot key to Windows. Global C-state control should be on for better performance under load. If everything aligns, you should be good to go.
