Expo not responding post-enabled
My setup won't start after enabling AMD EXPO. I've already POSTed before and installed Windows and drivers. I attempted to jump JBAT_1 with a screwdriver for ten seconds, but it still doesn't work. I removed the CMOS battery for a minute and reinserted it. No progress. The Debug LED shows no CPU or RAM detected (red and orange). It was running at 4800 and was changed to 6000. CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D RAM: G.Skill Flare X5 DDR5-6000 16GBx2 CL36 (F5-6000J3636F16GX2-FX5) Mobo: MSI B650 Tomahawk WiFi GPU: ASRock Phantom Gaming RX 7800 XT PSU: MSI MPG a750g PCIe5 Case: Lian li Lancool III Black RGB CPU cooler: Deepcool Ls720 storage: WD SN570 1TB NVMe + Teamgroup 512GB SATA SSD
I would attempt to extend the duration, such as staying overnight.
Remove the RAM module. Disconnect the power cable. Press the power button for ten seconds. Remove the CMOS battery for ten minutes. Restore the battery. Reconnect the power cable. Restart without the RAM, then shut it off again. Insert the RAM back into the board and attempt to boot.
The system shows CPU and RAM indicators but no post screen display.
You’re dealing with issues related to your mobile device’s hardware—specifically RAM, CPU, or memory problems. The best approach is to test the components by swapping parts or bringing it to a repair shop for analysis. My initial thought is the RAM might be damaged. Next, the motherboard could be faulty. Lastly, the CPU’s memory controller seems to have failed. Such issues are rare and usually occur despite minor adjustments, making this situation quite unusual.
