I’m focusing on your overclocking setup on AM4. DOCP is already active, but EXPO isn’t displaying correctly—your RAM won’t show up or you get blank screens. Some users suggest training memory to help it recognize your configuration. Running RAM at 6400 MHz should work if the system boots and responds properly. Check BIOS settings for any manual RAM adjustments and ensure your motherboard supports that frequency.
Adjust the settings for timing, voltage, and clock speed directly. This matches the process of activating EXPO, XMP, or DOCP.
It’s improbable you’d complete 6400 without adjustments or manual work. Consider trying 6000 instead.
I understand. @Bowjangls configured at 6000 with manual timing. For a profile of that board, consider downloading aida64 and selecting motherboard -> SPD. You'll see various profiles there, possibly including one for 6000mhz. At least you'll know the ICs used, which helps in finding compatible timings.
G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo Series 48GB (2 x 24GB) PC with 51200 MHz RAM (Model F5-6400J3239F24GX2-TZ5NRW). I’m not overly concerned about getting the overclocking done, but if it’s straightforward, I’d love the extra speed—especially since it was promoted with overclocking support.
