With Sea of Thieves completing the final open beta, I got the opportunity to play it. It seems like a game I wouldn’t hesitate to try, and I plan to do so on my gaming PC equipped with an i5 2400 @3.10GHz and 4GB RAM, along with a GeForce GTX 950 (2GB). Although it might not be ideal for my system—where other titles like GTA V run smoothly at 1080p with solid frame rates—I expect Sea of Thieves to struggle significantly after about 15 minutes. I’ve restarted my PC without success. Overall, I’m disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this game. During my work hours it was enjoyable, but the frequent frame drops and stutters make it completely unplayable. I’ll be sharing a video highlighting these issues at 360p on YouTube once it’s processed.

Run MSI Afterburner via the on-screen interface and observe CPU, RAM, or GPU performance during stutters.
