You're currently using a Ryzen 7-2700X with an RTX 2070, paired with two 8GB 2666 C19 GPUs. You're planning to upgrade to four 8GB 3200C16 GPUs. The online benchmarks often compare 2666 C14 to 3200C16, which reflects the typical performance of 2666 today. Switching to 2666 C19 to 3200C16 represents a significant upgrade, especially with double the number of cards. Expect a noticeable boost in gaming performance, though the exact improvement will depend on your specific games and how well you utilize the new configuration.

Performance gains will likely range from 5 to 8%, with most improvements between 3 to 4%. Switching from 4 sticks to 2 doesn't matter much. Your CPU and board only handle dual-channel setups; speed and latency will affect results, but the 2070 is probably at its limit, so you won't notice significant improvements. This upgrade mainly adds little value.

This happens when I launch Chrome, typically using around 80% of my available memory.

He’ll consume less memory percentage, yet the actual RAM consumed will remain identical. (I’m sure you understood this, though he might misinterpret it.)
