Since the channels are linked together, the width remains consistent even with multiple DIMMs. That’s why overclocking boards typically limits to one DIMM per channel—unless you require more RAM than available. As for the 32, 48, and 64GB options in DDR5, they’re practical choices. There are additional concerns like signal interference and conductor echo at higher frequencies, but these aren’t as significant as the impact on the memory controller.
