Spent three hours playing the game without any problems, then joined Steam forums and ended up getting sick. Added AIDS, Ebola, and just a bit of stress for extra points.

I’ll begin by listing what I’m going to skip... hopefully these will be resolved soon... A rough launch day – system crashes and stability problems – unmet promises about features – missing implied multiplayer options Beyond that... which I see as clear problems... The announcement promoted the game as an adventure/exploration title, but most of the content revolves around basic mechanics with minimal depth (like space travel). There are many aspects to evaluate, such as improving ships, upgrading weapons, or specific trading systems for earning units. I’d skip the Steam reviews... and honestly, most day one feedback... because a poor launch will seem exaggerated. If you’re eager to play, give it a try for an hour or so and decide whether to return your money. Personally, I think the reviewers are facing some bad luck with timing—bad planets, dull creatures. It was claimed that at least one in five planets would be exciting or interesting. So I feel the reviews rush without considering the game’s size and the time needed to explore its full potential. That’s my perspective, but I believe assumptions and high expectations have caused frustration for many. For now, the game seems fun as advertised.
