I considered an approach for the AMD Ryzen 9 99503XD. We understand that the 9800X3D often performs better than the 9950X3D in many games because of latency between their two CCDs, even though the 9950X3D is slower (5.7Ghz vs 5.2Ghz). If you could turn off all cores on CCD2—the one lacking the 3D V cache—then the 9950X3D would likely run faster in games. It would rely solely on the cache with 3D V-Cache and gain about 500Mhz speed advantage over the 9800X3D. Is this idea feasible?

BIOS settings feature Game Mode or similar options. Windows manages this process automatically when games are recognized, assuming the Xbox Game Bar is active and the correct AMD drivers are installed and up to date.
