I finally updated Windows, but Explorer isn’t working well with dark mode turned on. Most of the interface has switched to dark colors, yet the address bar remains white and the text becomes invisible. The context menu also stays light on a dark background. Someone, could you suggest a solution? I really don’t want to turn off dark mode. Also, is there a way to remove the unsightly border around windows that aren’t full screen? It seems different before the update.

You seem uncertain about the explorer problems. The dark mode is working well for you. It might relate to your personalization options—consider switching the accent color to another option and reverting. Regarding the border, it has existed since Windows 10 was released, and a border around windowed apps has been present since Windows 1.0 in 1987. There may have been mismatches with the previous system accent color.

I've attempted to adjust the colours but didn't notice any change. After switching themes and reverting them, it appears to have returned to its original state. The border has disappeared as well, now appearing only slightly wider and blending with the window instead of being a distinct accent.
