Hey there, I'm working with a 5800X3d on a B350 Bazooka (don't worry, it's a common setup...) and a Noctual NHU12A. The CPU runs smoothly at around 30°C when idle, but it climbs to 91°C under stress. Gaming and browsing work fine, though encoding tasks or benchmark tests push it past 90°C. The B350 BIOS offers basic fan control, but I checked and confirmed it reaches full speed above 70°C. Unfortunately, I don't have any PBO controls available, and I'm curious if the fan settings might be contributing to the overheating. Anyone with experience on this rig can share their cooling setup and what they're experiencing? If you're planning to upgrade the MOBO for PBO control, I'm open to checking that too, but first I want to confirm if this is the root cause. Thanks ahead!

It needs a better cooling solution. The AK-620 offers good value and beats the NH-D15 in performance.

No, I didn't try undervolting with CO.

It seems you're looking for a guide on undervolting at 5800X3d. You might want to check there for detailed instructions.

In BIOS, using Curve Optimizer with Ryzen Master doesn't lower temperatures.

The difference in your temperatures at just -10 was 5 degrees.

No curve optimizer available in the B350 BIOS. No PBO settings present in the B350 BIOS. Encountering issues.
