Explore Monster Hunter: World and its High Dynamic Range capabilities.
I’m running Monster Hunter World on my PC with an Asus Strix 1080Ti graphics card and a Asus PG348Q 3440x1440 monitor. I verified the resolution, but it remains at its default value and cannot be altered. The system indicated that enabling HDR was necessary to adjust the resolution. Consequently, I examined the settings within my Windows 10, System & Display options, specifically under Display Capabilities Stream HDR Video, which reported “No,” along with “Play HDR games and apps: no” and “Use WCG apps: no.” Does this imply that I’m unable to utilize the full resolution of my monitor when playing Monster Hunter World? Thank you for your assistance!

Concerning the codecs, I am unclear on whether they are present on my system, how to ascertain their existence, or where to obtain them if needed.
I recently searched and installed a Codec Pack from Microsoft specifically designed for Windows 10 (64-bit).
