For a high-quality, HD experience, consider installing a premium graphics driver or a modern game client like Steam with optimized settings. If you're looking for something visually rich, try using a dedicated Minecraft client such as Minecraft Classic or the newer versions with improved rendering. Additionally, ensure your system meets the recommended settings for optimal performance and aesthetics.
I suggest installing Fabric along with the Sodium mod and Iris Shaders. Iris enhances shader capabilities in Fabric and significantly boosts performance through various optimizations. For shaders, SEUS PTGI HRR is a solid choice, though it occasionally crashes unexpectedly, reducing frame rates near trees. This might happen if the GPU struggles to handle more than its 8GB VRAM or if swap memory isn't fast enough. I'm also using the Stratum 128x texture pack. The SEUS shader delivers realistic Minecraft visuals, while Sildurs Vibrant offers strong performance even at high detail settings. The complementary reimagined provides a more refined lighting effect with subtle reflections and maintains smooth performance around 100 FPS on my 3060Ti with the Stratum 128x pack. With your 3080 setup, the Iris mod significantly boosts shader performance compared to the older "Optifine" version. The top-tier shaders I use are Sildur's Vibrant shaders v1.51 Extreme – a volumetric lighting pack that adds depth and realism many other packs lack. It delivers impressive visuals without compromising frame rates. At 4K, I maintain around 120 FPS with about 12-14 view distances. If you prefer smoother play at 60 FPS, you can extend to 16-20 view distances. Lower resolutions let you push view distances even further. For resources, the Faithful x32 pack is a solid choice, boosting resolution while preserving original style and performance. It also handles higher resolutions well when paired with the x32 pack on reduced priority. If you're after realism, Misa's . works well for classic aesthetics but demands more processing power. For ultra-high detail, Sphax PureBD Craft offers excellent textures up to x512, though it’s demanding. Additional 3D assets are available for blocks and items that usually appear as simple shapes.
