Do you have a Samba share available? It's usually preferable to link to the system via a Samba share and IP address instead of using a network browser.

Consensus reached. Samba and cifs are the recommended approach. Mounting shares from the console is simpler, yet once configured, you can use the GUI for navigation, similar to Windows. https://www.howtogeek.com/176471/how-to-...and-linux/
