Explanation of why UEBS2 is so demanding
I've just begun using UEBS2

I'm curious about why the game feels so tough, especially with graphics that aren't top-notch. On one side, I realize performance problems can arise when handling millions of units, but I also see that not all units are always displayed. I don't get how a game could be using 15GB of VRAM at the lowest resolution while still running smoothly. Adjusting settings doesn't seem to help much. I think I moved from 15 to 18 frames per second when switching to ultra, and since my GPU is fully busy, it makes sense.
Is your processor operating at or exceeding 95% usage? That would indicate a bottleneck.
Damage processing usually occurs on the CPU, but it's conceivable that GPU acceleration might be used more frequently now.
The issue could stem from a poorly optimized game. Possible causes include rendering with the GPU that isn't visible, overlapping enemies, high-poly models at all viewing distances, and excessive reliance on physics simulations.
