I think it totally depends on how much you plan to play, and how much you want to invest. I'm getting a console because I don't play much. I'll sit down for maybe a few hours a week, and hammer out some Halo sessions with a few friends. There's maybe 7 games I really want to play. For me, it doesn't really make sense to drop $1200+ on a gaming computer. I can get a console for under $300. Not only that but I do a lot of work on my PC. So when it's time to enjoy something I'd rather not be still connected to it. Haha, people always quote the online cost. Is $3.50 a month really that much?
