Experiencing unusual problems with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, unable to determine the cause.
My computer has exhibited recent problems, specifically with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. It has experienced two blue screens (kmode_exception_not_handled) and numerous crashes to the desktop, alongside a recurring visual anomaly—rapid flashing lights (referenced at https://gfycat.com/preciouswanjackal). Fifteen minutes ago, the computer completely crashed with no preceding message, resulting in a black screen accompanied by audio through my headphones and a subsequent reboot to the BIOS splash screen. I am concerned about potential hardware failure, though I suspect this is isolated to CS:GO.
Specifications:
Ryzen 2700X
Zotac RTX 2080 AMP 8GB
32 GB Corsair 3200mhz Vengeance Pro RAM
I have checked the integrity of CS:GO files and reinstalled it, with neither action resolving the crashing issue, which has progressively worsened. However, I have not observed the visual anomaly since reinstalling the game.
Have any recent modifications been made? If not, what was the last modification? Are there any overclocking settings applied? What are the current CPU and GPU temperatures? Is that a complete 32GB kit, or was it expanded from another configuration?
Last change was increasing ram speed from default as to let my CPU actually utilize it (basically just enabling XMP or whatever) but I did that about 6 months ago and these problems have been incredibly recent.
Besides that no overclocks or changes.
Temps have been perfectly normal, no noticeable increase.
It is a proper kit,
this kit specifically
.
What is the power supply's make and model? Please test it with XMP disabled.
Power supply is this one, I will attempt to disable XMP next. Thank you.
