So I own an ASUS G752VSK-GC310T and I'm generally satisfied with it, but I'm experiencing headaches when temperatures rise. While playing Halo Infinite, even at low settings, the CPU temps keep hovering near 80°C, and the average reaches about 90°C. Since the motherboard is brand new, I suspect it's not the thermal paste causing the issue. My laptop stand has a built-in fan, and I'm running it at -80.1mV to prevent instability. The CPU is an i7-7700HQ. I'm unsure what to do and worry about the risk of PROCHOT 95 throttling to red when I'm in the main menu with background noise.

Typical configurations don't reduce the workload your CPU handles. It's usually limited by the GPU. Adjusting settings to ultra might lower CPU temperatures, since the GPU becomes the main constraint. Also consider capping frames at 60 FPS.

Purchase a laptop cooling station for around $20 to $30 online. It helps reduce temperatures during testing.

I mentioned it before, but I haven’t located a suitable option for a 17.3-inch laptop yet.

It doesn't need to match the laptop's dimensions exactly. Just a similar fit works fine.
