Generally, I experience very few issues with the games I play – they rarely crash or only occur sporadically. However, one exception is *World War Z* (wwz), which I access through the Epic Games Launcher. This game consistently crashes frequently, sometimes running smoothly for an hour and then suddenly crashing at random, or even failing to launch at all. After just a few minutes of gameplay, it will crash again and again... This cycle continues repeatedly. My graphics card is a high-end model costing over 3000 euros, and I have the most recent driver updates. I’m uncertain what is causing these problems, but it's incredibly frustrating to lose my game progress due to crashes. I’ve already attempted standard troubleshooting steps, and I'm seeking more specialized assistance or innovative solutions to truly resolve this issue. Thank you!

Hello,

To begin, please refrain from using offensive language. It won't enhance your explanation of the problem, and we prefer to maintain a respectful tone.

Let's start by outlining your computer’s complete specifications. This will allow us to better understand the situation.

However, could you first describe the nature of the crashes? Are they blue screen errors (BSOD), memory dump failures, or simply unexpected system reboots?

System specifications:

Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit) Version 1709
Processor: Intel Core i7-8086K, 4.0 GHz
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Overclocked
Memory: Kingston 32GB DDR4 at 4000MHz
Monitor: ASUS PB287Q (3840x2160, 70Hz)
Storage: SAMSUNG SSD 970 Pro NVMe M.2, 1TB
Motherboard: MSI Z370 A Pro E7 B48IMS.280
Power Supply: Corsair CX 600
Cooler: BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4 (250W TDP)

Note: I suspect the power supply may be a contributing factor, and I have already ordered an upgraded unit. Despite this, I can generally run games without issue, but frequently encounter freezing and instantaneous crashes while playing Tom Clancy's Wildlands. Occasionally the game will crash entirely, resulting in a black screen and an automatic reboot during gameplay. Similar issues occur with WarWorld, where the game tends to freeze or display a black screen after approximately 20 minutes of play, requiring me to use ALT+F4 to exit. I’ve experienced similar problems in the past, including blue screens, which I resolved through multiple Windows re-installations and by enabling additional settings such as Direct Play and legacy components. I am currently uncertain about the root cause of these problems, especially since I cannot determine if it is related to the new power supply.

Within the Event Viewer, I discovered a large number of errors, alerts, and serious issues.
Recurring warnings and errors are associated with “Kernel-EventTracing.” Multiple problems stem from ESENT.
I've also encountered numerous errors originating from “DistributedCOM.” A single, persistent critical error is consistently reported as “Kernel Power.”
“Kernel Power” frequently provides detailed information: the system rebooted unexpectedly, without a controlled shutdown, potentially due to unresponsive operation, crashes, or sudden power loss.
I recently purchased a new power supply unit, and I’m questioning whether this is the root cause since other applications function without issue. The problems seem to occur primarily during gaming, and I can stream or use my PC normally without difficulty. It seems that standard tasks don’t demand significant voltage levels.
I've attached a screenshot of the Event Viewer for your reference: https://postimg.cc/jDLGqKQ9
Thank you for your assistance.
