Experiencing stuttering problems with your new PC?
I’m experiencing slow texture loading and stuttering on my new PC. Even games that pre-load cache, like Cod Mw3 and Cod Bo6, freeze during cutscenes and gameplay. My build specs are: i5 13400F, MSI B760M-A PRO WIFI DDR4 16GB DDR4 3200MHz, 1TB WD SN770 SSD, 512GB Samsung 980 (OS installed), Asrock Pro Challenger RX 6750 XT OC, 12GB Corsair 750W Gold PSU, and Windows 11 Home 2H22. I’ve tried reinstalling drivers, updating BIOS and GPU, disabling MPO, adjusting power plans, setting shader cache to ON in registry, manually tweaking core clocks, resetting cores, increasing page file size, disabling DXNavi, resetting shader cache, updating SSD firmware, and using MSI Afterburner for monitoring. In games, I see performance graphs but no visible CPU or GPU usage changes—temperatures stay around 60°C under load. CPU stays near 20% while GPU hits about 99%. I’m stuck and would appreciate your advice to fix this.
The only idea that comes to mind is swapping out the Samsung SSD for a WD drive as the boot device. The rest of your components should still function unless you're working at very high resolutions like 4K or 1440p with powerful graphics. You might experiment with adjusting the PCIe speed settings in the BIOS to see if that helps, but it's unlikely to fix the problem. Good luck!
