Hello! Your Samsung Odyssey 34" OLED G8 monitor is working well now, but you're still experiencing fps stutter. I've checked many settings and configurations—changing resolutions, adjusting VSync, tweaking fan speeds—but nothing seems to resolve the issue. Your hardware specs look solid: Intel i7-13700K, RTX 3080, ample RAM and SSDs. The power draw does decrease during stutters, which might be a clue. Have you considered checking for driver updates or running a system diagnostics tool? Also, ensure your graphics drivers are up to date and that you're using the latest stable version of Windows. If the problem persists, it might be worth consulting MSI support or a professional technician.

Result. A drop in FPS means reduced rendering performance. With your GPU at full capacity and CPU at 20-30%, the issue likely stems from GPU limitations. First, verify if the Nvidia driver is up to date and ensure Windows is fully updated. Confirm your display cable supports the monitor’s resolution and refresh rate. If uncertain, test with a different cable to assess stability. V-Sync and G-sync will cap your FPS at the monitor’s refresh rate—so a 240Hz screen with a card that can only output 290fps will slow to 240fps. If problems persist, use DDU to uninstall current drivers and reinstall the latest Nvidia drivers. You may also reinstall an older driver if needed. Let me know if this resolves your concern.

Thanks for sharing the replay! Nvidia and Windows are current, I don’t recall the cable pricing but I was using it on my old 144Hz Asus TUF VG27AQ without any problems. I think I’ll need to test DDU in that situation. What’s puzzling me most is how the game performed smoothly on my 27” 144Hz monitor—no issues at all. With the new display, I should just tweak some settings to handle the higher resolution, since it worked for other titles too. Except in Cyberpunk sometimes, but that’s just the game itself. Even lowering everything to the lowest and reverting to 2560x1440 boosts FPS to 90-100 during stutters, which helps.

It seems you're confirming that everything is powered from a single outlet.

Keep them separate from the same outlet to balance the current draw

you should look into the drivers available for your monitor.

All the outlets in the space are connected to the same power line, which shouldn't cause any issues.
