When I close the game and restart it, it always behaves in a certain way. The game freezes only in the task manager, but not always quickly enough.
I think I need to return a replacement for my GPU... how do I do that? I purchased all the components together at once from a Dutch site, Azerty.nl.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
The game appears as shown here: Example B:

To request a replacement for a GPU, reach out to Asus directly, not the retailer where you purchased it.

Thanks! I understand you're not a tech expert, so you probably shouldn't need to return it unless you're certain. Your GPU was purchased on December 26, 2018, and you're experiencing a graphical problem since yesterday.

There might be several reasons behind this issue. Drivers, Windows updates, game patches, and even hardware problems could be involved.

I would:
Reinstall GPU drivers
Verify if a game patch has been released
Check for any Windows updates
Try reseating the GPU
Reseat RAM modules
If necessary, reinstall Windows and then the game, should this not resolve the problem.
What type of PSU do you have? This could indicate a power-related concern.

It’s worth testing on another system or with a friend to see if the issue persists. Many factors need checking, but sometimes it’s simpler for the manufacturer to handle.

Other suggestions you can consider are...
- How do I remove the GPU drivers and then reinstall them via NVIDIA GeForce Experience?
- There aren’t any new updates available for Total War: Warhammer 1 and 2, as well as COD4 (problems on three of these titles).
I haven’t played games such as Heroes of the Storm or Dota yet. Still, the main concern is... they should work on all games, but why these three?
I’ve updated the Windows and GPU drivers, re-seated the GPU a few times, swapped RAM sticks, and even changed slots, but nothing resolved the issue. I also reinstalled Windows (backed up to factory settings as a last attempt, but it didn’t help).
The screen doesn’t match the images shown for Call of Duty 4—it completely freezes after just one minute of startup.
It also crashes and has graphical glitches similar to those in Total War: Warhammer 1 and 2 (those two games), which freeze too.
My PSU is a Corsair RMx white series RM750x (750W), 80 plus gold, 100-240V.
I’m really frustrated because I think the hardware might be faulty, and the GPU is likely the problem...
After trying to fix everything and checking most possibilities, I’m still unsure what’s going on.

Sure, I'd send a return authorization and have them check it.

I reside in the Netherlands/Europe, the provided link is usable. I believe it's suitable for customers from Canada/America and the manufacturer as well. I think it should be fine for me.

The connection was only for verifying the warranty status, after which you could proceed with RMA matters.
It would be better to contact ASUS directly and guide you through the steps specific to your region.

It might be a simple question but you should use ASUS in your country or the global version depending on where you're selling.

They'll guide you on the right path to handle it.
Right now, let your mind rest from the details.
Just ask them to move forward and begin.
