I've faced this problem for years. For some reason, my main monitor occasionally forces me to restart my PC due to strange shading issues. I'll share a picture to illustrate, though it's not always obvious. Sometimes a driver update resolves it, other times it doesn't. It seems to be my monitor since the issue appears only on a different screen. Since this problem has started, I haven't changed anything else in my PC setup except the monitor. I'm pretty confident it's the monitor, but if anyone knows more about what's happening or has a solution, please let me know. I'd really like to avoid buying a new one.
Seems you're reducing the bit depth, possibly from 8-bit to 4-bit or lower. This limits color variations and makes the colors appear more solid. Check the cable connection; if the issue persists, there might be a problem with encoding, decoding, or compression. It could be an internal fault.
