I recently purchased this USB header splitter because I have three devices needing internal USB headers and only two USB ports on my motherboard. I’m experiencing issues and am unsure if the problem lies with the splitter or my hardware. The first device is my Wi-Fi card, the Cudy Ax3000, which uses USB for Bluetooth. The second and third are the AMD Wraith Stealth cooler and Corsair Lighting Node Pro, both relying on USB for RGB control. When I connect the splitter and plug in either the second or third device, they don’t appear. Meanwhile, the Wi-Fi card’s Bluetooth stays active whether USB is connected to the splitter or directly to the motherboard. I’m using a Tomohawk B450 and have checked numerous online forums but haven’t encountered this issue before. Thanks for reading.

Test the devices on different machines to check compatibility. If they function with another motherboard, consider using the splitter to remove the RGB controllers and Wi-Fi card.

Do your Wi-Fi card, RGB controller, and AIO USB connectors all feature four wires? I'm wondering if you can merge the pins of two devices into a single USB port. The connections are secured with spring tension and can be unscrewed using a pen or fine screwdriver. I encountered a comparable issue where I merged the ports of a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card with a Ryujin AIO. It functioned perfectly. Remember to document the pin order or take a photo for reference.
