PC specifications: GPU model msi strix 1080 TI, CPU Ryzen 7600, motherboard MSI B650M-A, Wi-Fi PRO cooler Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE, power supply Bronze 600W, RAM 16GB DDR5 5200M/T, system ran smoothly initially but later experienced random black screens and shutdowns. During boot failures, CPU and DRAM lights appeared simultaneously on the motherboard. After reseating the cooler and CPU, the system eventually started working properly. I also noticed performance issues in games like Iracing due to excessive page faults. Several troubleshooting steps were tried: AM5 contact frame, updated BIOS, proper RAM configuration (XMP-1, 5200 M/T limit), reduced CPU/GPU speeds, different RAM slots, and extended stress tests. Help would be appreciated as I’m new to PC setup. One possibility is a power supply problem.

It might be a power supply unit problem. Determine the precise model for accurate diagnosis.

7600 includes an integrated GPU; exclude the 1080 and test with that option.

It could be a RAM issue. Consider performing a memory test to identify any problems.

Conducted a RAM test on OCCT for an hour with no problems. Performed the OCCT Power test repeatedly; generally stable, though a power spike caused the PC to shut down and display a black screen.

I can't locate the brand, but it's a semi-modular PSU rated at 600W. I've run some OCCT tests, and it usually works well most of the time. But during power spikes, it blackouts or shuts down unexpectedly.

On OCCT I set it to use only the 7600X built-in graphics instead of the 1080Ti, but I think it looked quite realistic because there was much less power drawn from the PSU.

If you can't locate the brand, that's a major warning sign. During a power surge it shutting down suggests a PSU problem. Would you mind providing the PSU's serial number or any identifying details?

I checked the side panel of my case to look for anything useful, but it’s the one with no data and the other side is inaccessible. The only info I see is on top of the PSU, showing 600W for a semi-modular unit. I’ll try to remove it and snap a photo, thanks for your help—I’m not very comfortable with PCs.
