Experiencing problems with fans
Recently, I'm experiencing problems with certain fans in my Lian LI Lancool II case. The first three fans are originals included with the unit, while the remaining ones are Corsair LL120 White RGB Hydraulic Bearing 120mm case fans. Two of the three front fans—the top and bottom ones—stop working completely, and the three top Corsair fans behave similarly. They intermittently halt and sometimes restart briefly, giving a brief spark before stopping again. The motherboard connected to them is an MSI X570S MPG EDGE MAX WiFi AMD AM4 ATX board. I've tried disconnecting the fans from their headers and reattaching them. I'm not sure if the issue lies with the fans themselves, the motherboard, or the BIOS. I've checked the BIOS and found no errors. The only other potential culprit I can think of is Fan Control Software by Remi Mercier.
Check if the system runs in a low-power setting. Certain motherboard controls and programs can disable fans when temperatures exceed a specific threshold.
I believe I resolved most of the problem. I removed the CMOS, and it appears to be functioning well now. The main concern remains the front top fan.
Discard the outdated ewaste items and opt for Phanteks T30s or Noctua A12s.
You recently adjusted the software settings to keep it running continuously, but it failed to function properly.
The problem seems more related to software or BIOS rather than a hardware fault. After resetting the CMOS, I’m inclined toward a software cause.
I've addressed the problem, it seems nearly half of the fan headers are damaged at once. I removed the three front fans since they were mainly for appearance and replaced them with a working header. The fans located behind the AIO draw in air effectively.
It seems like everything I assumed wasn't quite right. It turns out my power supply failed just before it completely stopped working. The MSI MPG850 I had was only a few weeks or months old, and now only the 5-volt output remains.
