Hello, I recently assembled a PC and opted for a motherboard without Wi-Fi, thinking Ethernet would suffice (and considering cost). My router is in the basement and provides roughly 350-400 Mbps both wirelessly and via wired connection. When I attempted Ethernet using a Devolo powerline adapter, speeds dropped to about 30Mbps upstairs. I assumed interference from other devices was the issue, but I’m not technically skilled. I then tried my Wi-Fi on my phone and MacBook, which consistently showed 80-150 Mbps. I decided to purchase a USB Wi-Fi adapter and ended up getting a TP-Link Archer T3U. After installing drivers and connecting it via USB, I still managed only around 30Mbps occasionally. Could you help identify the possible cause? Some extra info: I’m using Windows 10, it’s updated, and I’ve already set the adapter to 5GHz.

It feels like you're near the limit, honestly. Powerline networking has always come with some issues.

It seems odd since my phone and laptop have good Wi-Fi while my PC struggles with the connection.
