Greetings, the subject is quite clear. I possess a high-performance laptop and am encountering difficulties achieving a consistent frame rate of 60 FPS in Apex Legends. I’m uncertain about the cause.

My system specifications are as follows:

Operating System:
Windows 10 (64-bit)
Processor:
Intel Core i7-7700HQ
Memory:
8GB
Graphics Card:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050
Dedicated Graphics Memory:
2GB
Storage:
735 GB of available space on the installation drive.

Apex Legends Recommended System Requirements:

Operating System:
64-bit Windows 7
Processor:
Intel i5-3570K or equivalent
Memory:
8GB
Graphics Card:
Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 / AMD Radeon R9 290
Dedicated Graphics Memory:
8GB
STORAGE SPACE:
Minimum 22 GB of free space

Despite your GTX 1050 with 2GB surpassing the baseline needs, it falls short of the advised specifications (a GTX 970 boasting 4GB). Experimenting with reduced game resolutions and/or visual parameters may allow you to achieve a frame rate of 60fps.
