I'm really struggling to resolve this problem. Whenever I launch a game that adjusts the resolution at startup—like Dark Souls 3 or Nier Automata—I get my PC freeze completely, but the audio stays working. The only solution is a hard reboot after holding down power for ten seconds. I've updated every driver I could think of, yet nothing has fixed it. I'm hoping someone with more advanced knowledge can help me understand what's causing this issue, because I can't play these games anymore. (Note: Sometimes audio plays fine, other times it doesn't.) If the Ctrl+Shift+Shift key combination fails, try DDU, search for it online, and locate a tutorial.
