Before anyone mentions "real internet," I can't. I relocated to a remote area with limited connectivity and rely on my phone's hotspot. Here are the problems: 1. The hotspot consistently activates around 7-8 PM every day. It only works at that specific time. Even when switching phones, the issue persists. 2. I need an Ethernet cable from my PS5 to my PC for stable internet access. However, whenever I use it, connectivity drops unpredictably. Sometimes turning off and back on resolves the problem, other times adjusting the IP settings (like IPv6) helps restore service.

It happens every Friday at 11 PM on my home router, though I'm not sure why. It seems to be doing something specific even though I don't understand the connection.

Indicates that the hotspot IP lease is about to end, so devices receive a fresh local IP address each day. Consider configuring a static IP for your PC within the network adapter options.

I'll handle that when I wake up later. It might matter if I set defaultcurhoplimit=65 in cmd to skip the hotspot cap, though I'm not sure it changed things. Even with a direct USB connection via PC for internet, I still faced connectivity problems.

It's common with mobile networks. I used Vodafone with a 4G router recently and found my VPN would frequently drop and not reconnect. On other devices or connections, it usually worked smoothly. Using phone tethering was much worse—phones aren't built for extended tethering.

Probably a matter of the service provider handling it, and nothing you can change...

That's the idea I had. I just need to be optimistic about when the Starlink satellite will arrive...
