Experiencing low frame rates with an i7-8700K processor and an RTX 2070 graphics card.
I’ve been consistently experiencing 70-90 frames per second while playing Modern Warfare. Initially, I assumed it was due to my in-game settings, so I reduced them slightly but continued to observe the same frame rate. Subsequently, I examined YouTube performance tests using comparable hardware and noted that they achieved approximately 110-120 fps with maximum settings. Despite adjusting all graphical options within the game to a visually degraded state—making everything appear quite artificial—I maintained a steady 70-90 FPS. My NVIDIA graphics card settings are already configured for optimal performance, yet this issue persists. Below are my system specifications:
CPU: Intel Core i7 8700K
RAM: 32 GB DDR4 @2133 MHz
Motherboard: ROG STRIX B360-F GAMING
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070
Could you tell me which power supply unit (PSU) and model you have?
Have you resolved this problem? I'm still encountering similar difficulties.
My system specs are: Intel i7 8700k (Coffee Lake), an AORUS RTX 2060 Super, an Aorus Z370 motherboard, and 16GB of 3200MHz RAM. I’m seeing frame rates between 70 and 90, with the GPU consistently utilizing 80-90% of its capacity and the CPU running at 45-50%.
