I have a gigabyte H61-M WW rev 1.0 motherboard and I'm having a posting issue as i upgraded my 4gb ram stick to 2x4gb ram ddr3 1600 mhz and it is exactly the same as the new one. But I'm having issues as the screen won't post the motherboard is on but there is no sign of life in the keyboard and mouse and also as i disabled my onboard gpu before I won't get any response from connecting to the vga port back of the mobo. So i need assistance regarding the same for solving the issue. My specs: Gigabyte H61-M WW rev 1.0 Cpu : i3-3220 Ram sk hynix 4gbx2 1600mhz Gfx card : 1660 super

Have you checked each RAM individually? Try the new one separately from the old one. Ensure the RAM is correctly placed. Verify if your motherboard supports ECC memory. If so, installing regular RAM might not cause issues. You could also attempt a BIOS reset if possible, which may resolve the problem.

It's possible you may need to clear your CMOS settings. The system might be mixing signals due to an unexpected increase in memory capacity.
