Your FPS looks typical. You don’t have top-tier parts, yet they’re sufficient to reach over 180 fps. Are the fluctuations noticeable during smoke bursts or in intense gunfights? If so, they’re somewhat normal; otherwise, it’s an issue. Also, consider boosting your CPU a bit since CSGO is heavily CPU-intensive and benefits from more power.

This frame rate is typical for your system. If it falls significantly, there could be cooling problems.

It seems like you're talking about feeling sluggish while smoking and considering CPU optimization. Let me know if you'd like to explore that further!

The simplest fix is to reboot your computer when your FPS appears too low. Issue resolved consistently.

CSGO isn’t the best performance in the game. Your graphics card isn’t doing much either. At 1024x768 I’m getting around 300 on most maps.

Observed a rise in frames per second with the fps_max 0 command. Consider testing it.

I encounter this frequently even on a GTX 1080. I wonder why it’s allowed to run so fast—shouldn’t we limit it or adjust the settings? At around 180 FPS it’s useless without a capable display.
