I'm experiencing some performance problems that weren't present before. While streaming with OBS and playing Escape From Tarkov works fine, I've noticed a significant drop in frame rate in other games like Valorant—from around 1300 FPS to about 700. I don’t need high FPS for my 240Hz display, but the reduction is noticeable.

I’ve tried adjusting EXPO settings, changing timings, and disabling certain Windows features, yet the issue persists. OBS interface and a specific VTubing model (3D rendered via VSeeFace) start to lag, but the game itself remains stable on another monitor.

Monitoring tools show my GPU draws about 90W during basic tasks like Blender, but spikes to 180-260W when playing Tarkov. Clock readings look normal, and I haven’t seen any CPU or memory bottlenecks. A clean custom install without extra drivers didn’t help.

I’ve also checked RAM compatibility—FlareX5S isn’t listed for my board, yet it runs well. There seems to be something else affecting performance. I’m unsure what’s causing this and feel stuck without a clear solution.

Plus the fun of the video, I don’t think there’s anything wrong? Performance loss... perhaps? There’s just so much going on, it wouldn’t be surprising. Things get updated often, which is typical for Tarkov—known for its performance problems. I’d suggest giving a clearer description of the problem so helpers can assist you better. Also, try running a Firestrike benchmark (demo on Steam) and share the results here.

No issues reported. Gaming works fine without streaming.

In the video you can observe the 3D Model itself, while audio dB bars are lagging. However, other parts of OBS aren’t affected—like the game footage remains smooth at 60fps. I verified my 3D Model software is functioning correctly, and it is. It seems the problem might be specific to OBS. It only occurs when Tarkov tries to limit my GPU usage. This isn’t consistent every time; it varies. I plan to run stress tests. I previously used OCCT about a month ago without issues. I tested it overnight to rule out RAM problems, as I experienced a blue screen early on, but haven’t had one in over 60 days. Unfortunately, it wasn’t OBS causing encoding overload or other issues, especially when recording at higher bitrates with the same streaming settings.
