your friend is experiencing unusual behavior with their system setup. it seems waking up or rebooting can cause problems like not starting at all, waking up just from connecting a usb device or turning on a connected gadget, and sudden crashes after reboot. under heavy tasks such as gaming or rendering, nothing happens despite using optimized bios settings. disabling hibernation helped temporarily, but the issue persists with another psu and rm850x. no consistent solution found so far.

What are the most recent specifications? What RAM configuration does the board use at 1.3500V with XMP tuning? Is it offering 2x16GB or 4x8GB?

Hi, thank you for your message. The BIOS is the F10 2x16GB DDR4 Crucial Ballistix (BL16G36C16U4R) QVL approved. I adjusted the RAM settings manually as advised, and until now everything seemed stable. However, when playing an old game, the PC shut down completely. I’m not sure it’s due to a temporary or PSU problem. I noticed the VDDR in Windows reads 1.368V at idle, while on BIOS it’s 1.35V. New chipset drivers just came out, so I’ll try them, but I’m not optimistic. Any suggestions? Maybe change the IF frequency from 1800 to 1700?
