Experiencing fluctuations in your internet speed?
Looking at the results, it seems you're interested in a 20€ investment for this bulls*it.
I noticed many people spending between $50 and $60 for 3 Mbps DSL with upload speeds under a Mbps. That seems pretty reasonable. In fact, paying around $22 for this service is quite affordable. A price of 700K is close to what you'd get with 1 Mbps. If your ISP might be dealing with congestion, there could be line issues or signal problems on your end. You’d need someone to check your modem’s signal pages to confirm that. Unfortunately, I’m not sure how to diagnose DSL signal problems myself. If you want faster speeds, it might be worth checking what other ISPs offer.
Many local companies offer Air Internet instead of DSL, and it seems more reliable. They claim speeds around 30 Mbps, which is great for you, and the cost is 15€.
If it's wireless, it's hard to determine. Wireless isn't as dependable as wired connections. Expect more delays. DSL has range limits; the farther from your local router or remote device, the worse the connection gets. For better performance, use Coax (Docsis) or Fiber.
Occasionally I wonder if I'm stuck at the end of the world without VDSL or fiber. Thanks for your help @Donut417
