I’m uncertain about where to post this. I recently encountered issues launching the game Smite, and a suggested solution was to remove and reinstall it. I proceeded to uninstall the game, but when attempting to reinstall, a message appeared indicating that an application or similar file already existed. I had deleted all associated folders for the game. What went wrong? –.-

To remove this from your Windows system, you’ll likely need to completely uninstall it. Simply deleting the files will not remove it. Access the Control Panel, then navigate to “Uninstall a Program,” and select the game to uninstall.

Yes I did and it says for some reason it’s missing files or something. Buddy told me my pc thinks it’s gone but it’s not so best bet would be to restore Pc but would I erase everything since that would get rid of all files so Pc would have to figure out it’s gone ?

Reinstall the program and then remove it. It’s simpler that way.
