I’m dealing with a situation where my system is only about seven months old and I built it myself. I’ve been experiencing CPU overheating lately, but my Kraken M22 has been running smoothly for four months so far. I don’t believe this is the main problem. My voltage setting on auto is very low at 0.0879, which seems quite low. When I try to change it back to normal, the PC often crashes or won’t boot at all. After resetting it to auto again, I plan to run a game and see if the temperature rises gradually until it reaches around 95°C. Could someone please advise?

The M22 can't manage that CPU.

It might be undervolted because the voltage supply isn't sufficient for the device's requirements.

Intel CPUs rely on C states to lower power use. A C7 core is removed from the power supply and sits at zero volts. Current monitoring tools struggle accurately with idle voltage readings. When your CPU hits 95°C, improved cooling is essential—consider reinstalling your cooler first.

M22 is a low-performing cooler dealing with the 11700, particularly when the case isn't providing adequate airflow.

A superior cooler enables higher turbo power usage, unlocking additional performance from the CPU. The standard 65W configuration stops the system from reaching its full potential.
