experiencing bsod and unexpected restarts during gameplay
my pc was built about four months ago and i've faced whea-uncorrectable error issues. in the event viewer it displays kernel-power 41, but i recently got a new power supply thinking it was the cause. it turns out everything else is fine except when other apps run. the power supply lacks a 6-pin pcie cable so i'm using an adapter. components: cpu - ryzen 5 5600x, gpu - gtx 970, ram - t-force 32gb kit, motherboard - b550 auros elite ax v2, ssd - wd blue sn570 1tb, psu - gigabyte ud750g. i've checked all parts via cmd and reset windows already.
didn't push the processor beyond its limits and i replaced the ram. temperatures checked so far are cpu ranging 65-80 with some fluctuations, and the gpu around 70-80.
I just completed the testing and everything came out clean. I tried one RAM stick at a time to check, but it still happened. I also used another GPU and the issue persisted.
WHEA doesn't track RAM usage. XMP may cause WHEA to activate if it pushes the memory controller beyond its limits, which is part of the CPU.
