Experiencing black screens during overclocking while playing games
My computer has been behaving oddly recently. I've experienced black screens during League of Legends after adjusting my RAM to default speeds (3000mhz). I configured the RAM to 1.2v and 2800 MHz using an XMP profile from my motherboard. Additionally, I overclocked my CPU to a 3.4 GHz setting at 1.2v. While Cinebench runs smoothly, my League client occasionally turns black and flashes for about one or two seconds during gameplay, happening roughly every 20 minutes. Could this indicate issues with the overclocking?
It seems you're likely dealing with an inconsistent overclock. Try running something like Prime95 for a few hours to check stability and temperature control. After that, you can make the necessary adjustments.
Initially, I noticed you had set an XMP profile, so I turned it off along with the overclock. I usually run an Intel burn test for a quick stability check. Therefore, I would disable XMP at least to see if your overclock remains stable during the test. If it doesn’t, you can adjust until it does. Once that’s confirmed, you can try re-enabling the XMP profile and proceed further.

I tested both Prime95 and Furmark on stock speeds for CPU, RAM, and GPU stability. No issues have arisen so far. My GPU stays stable at 71c under full load, the CPU is stable at 50, and RAM remains fully stable even at maximum load. All tests lasted a minimum of 15 minutes each.
