Chose Windows 11 and installed it, but faced audio problems. Some games run well while others have very low sound through speakers. Updated BIOS too, yet the issue persists. Restarting fixed it. When using Realtek Audio Console, impedance sensing disappears during playback unless I restart or re-connect speakers. After a PC restart, I can adjust amplification in the console and it works better. Setting seems missing when launching games, possibly related to visuals. Attached screenshots before and after.

Could have gone for the default option. There could be modifications made previously that returned to the default setting.

I have no idea what could trigger this. I set up the SSD and HDD before installing Windows 11, and it didn’t retain any settings unless the motherboard stored some data. I didn’t experience similar problems on Windows 10 with the same hardware, even though I used different BIOS versions.

If you install something in Windows 10 but not in Windows 11, the programs might use the default settings. This can happen because audio is being sent to a different source. It's a typical occurrence.

Turning off the audio enhancements in the volume mixer resolved the issue, but it doesn’t necessarily mean the onboard sound card will stop using it.

Returned to the most recent Windows 10 driver I had before upgrading to Windows 11, it worked fine, especially for audio.
