Experiencing an unusual startup problem recently.
ASUS TUF GAMING X570 experienced problems after replacing the power supply. Recently, the computer failed to fully power on despite all components (CPU/GPU/RAM/Cooler) appearing operational. The PSU was around ten years old, and a new one was ordered just four months prior. After installation, everything worked until shutdown for sleep. When restarting, the tower powered up but the keyboard/mouse and screens didn’t activate. Hard boot with the PSU switched caused similar issues—screen displayed the MOBO logo and froze. Rebooted several times, it eventually started working again. It’s been running for hours now, and everything seems normal. Any suggestions? Feeling anxious about shutting it down again.

It might be a RAM or slot problem. Consider changing the slots or testing with one RAM module at a time.
Tested all previous options. Used Rx850x PSU ASUS TUF x570 Plus with Wi-Fi Ryzen 3700X, ASUS 1070, Samsung 970 EVO M.2 x2, Patriot Viper 32 GB at 3200mhz (two 16GB), plus several random SSDs from different brands like Kingston and OCZ. Currently, the system runs smoothly, but starting it requires up to ten reboots. During these restarts, the back fan will flicker, partially spin, then stop. If this occurs, the keyboard, mouse, and two screens may freeze, entering BIOS safety mode before freezing again or launching Windows. I’ve removed one RAM stick, swapped slots, reset the CMOS, and re-seated the GPU—nothing resolved the issue. All connections appear secure, and the motherboard isn’t touching any case components. There’s no apparent cause for sudden failures. Performance remains unaffected once powered on; it just takes time to boot. As far as I know, the PC is fine when it starts, but if it fails, I shut it down because the power outage lasted seven hours, exceeding the UPS capacity.
