Hey there. I figured it was time to disassemble the old PC and give it a thorough clean. After putting it back together, it would boot and start up, but once I reached the login screen it would lock up. I saw an amber light flash near the RAM slot and a strange error message appeared on the motherboard after a short delay. I moved the RAM stick around, tried all slots, re-seated the CPU and RAM, and cleared the CMOS. I can stay in BIOS as long as I need, and everything shows up there, but whenever I try to boot the operating system it gets confused. After resetting the CMOS, I noticed for a brief moment the system thought there were three keyboards connected when only one keyboard and a mouse were present. Anyone got any suggestions on what might be going wrong or how to fix it?
