I watch Twitch and have noticed my Ethernet connection dropping during streams. I usually stream for a few minutes before speed drops sharply or cuts out completely. Restoring it means unplugging and plugging back in, though streaming quality often drops afterward. The connection remains stable otherwise, even during tasks like homework or YouTube viewing. This suggests my ISP might be throttling bandwidth when I use too much, but I’m not sure if the hardware is the problem yet. Your ASUS ROG X570-I has been with you for about a month now.

This was the initial thought that crossed my mind. It’s also conceivable the Ethernet cable itself is the issue: using a wire with an incorrect gauge can cause overheating, increasing resistance and lowering performance.
