computer experiences crashes after just two minutes of playing carxdrift/dirt rally. the monitor turns black and background game sounds play. after three to five minutes it restarts normally with no error messages. i ran a clean boot, reinstalled the launcher and games, and verified the files—still nothing works. checked drivers and performed updates. mw3 runs perfectly without problems. stress tests on 3dmark completed successfully with no overheating. system temperature stays between 40-45°C, peaking at 50°C but never exceeding. hardware specs: 12700k, 3080ti cx3, mpg z690 carbon, wifi gskill, 32gb ddr5 (4800mhz), 970 evo plus, 2tb game drive, cuda 2tb boot drive, supernova 850w gm, 80+ gold windows 11.

The Windows Event Viewer contains logs of system activities, including events that triggered a restart. Look for entries related to "Kernel-Power" or similar system-level changes.

It seems you're encountering a common Windows issue where your PC shuts down unexpectedly. Trying basic, no-cost solutions first is a good approach. Updating the DDU GPU drivers and reinstalling them can help, along with checking your BIOS settings and other driver updates.

Absolutely, it’s clear there’s a significant problem. The logs show only one error, suggesting a major issue rather than minor warnings. Most likely, the problem stems from RAM or compatibility conflicts. Try using the default RAM speed without any overclocking or undervolting. Ensure your drivers and BIOS are current, then check if the crash occurs more quickly than usual—this could help narrow down the cause. Also, the PSU might be contributing, especially with certain motherboards like the EVGA 3080.

It might be due to RAM issues, though other components like the power supply or motherboard could also be responsible.
